Allergies?
Recently Tim from the Fox And Fawn Farm wrote in his newsletter:
While late summer does bring in a bounty of harvest delights, it does also usher in the worst time of year for poor saps like me: ragweed season. As I write this, I can barely see my computer screen through the tears from my irritated eyes. The whole house is shaking from Jeremy's violent sneezes upstairs. The drowsiness side effect of his allergy medicine has him taking two naps a day now. I have enough well-used handkerchiefs scattered around the farm to supply a middle school flag football team. And still the mucus flows from my nose like….juice from a tomato that is stepped on while wheezing.
My open response…
Tim and Jeremy,
A body easily irritated by pollen, dust, dander, is due to the high level of acidity; the mucous membranes are already irritated by ingestion of mucus forming foods and acidic bearing habits. You may want to read “The Mucusless Diet” by Arnold Ehret (not in print) immediately.
When I visited your lovely farm and kitchen and then read your hilarious and informative newsletter, I became aware that you are not yet abiding by a wheat free and diary free diet. Eventually such will bring on the sneezing, wheezing, coughing discharge seizures. Later in life the mucous being created in excess in defense to the acidity created by food choices, becomes more dehydrated and causes plaque in the joint and arthritis.
It is just a matter of time until this too starts to set in.
Best to learn now how to eat foods that are cleaner fuel. The book “The pH Miracle” by Dr Robert O. Young and “Back to the House of Health” by his wife Shelley Redford Young that give alkaline recipes free of mucus forming foods, are both a must. I have both books should you wish to purchase them. I would love to come out and see the farm and help given a date and time.
The body is bag of chemistry. We must adhere to its laws or suffer.
You have the more refined body style with your fair skin and red hair. You are one who can not go over the edges of the need for proteins from greens and go the old way of eating acidic foods such as meat, dairy, grains. I switched out slowly 30 years ago and have never looked back!
It is a solution that stands through time. We are built to eat plant life for it carries the charge of the life force most directly.
